The studio
Small by design. Twelve hands, no account managers.
Atelier was founded in 2016 in a former print shop on Northwest Broadway, and now works between Portland and Tokyo. We take on eight projects a year — identities, editorial systems and the spaces they live in — so a founding partner draws on every single one, from first call to final artwork.
There are no pitch teams and no handoffs. The people you meet are the people who do the work, and everything we show you is real: printed, prototyped, pinned to the wall and argued over before it ever reaches your inbox.
The studio wall, week 41 — proofs, plinths and one argument still unresolved.
